It's been just over a year since my last post here saying that SS was on hold. You'll be happy to know that I am now working on it and it should be out in a few months. The plot for SS-9 has been written and I've just started animating the first scene. Here's a few screens.

I thought I should let you guys know the plans.

The truth is, I don't have the motivation or time to work on Sprite Survivor anymore. It's been a year since the release of SS-8, and right now I have more important thing to do. I'm nearly 21 and life is getting pretty intense. The time that I do have free, I spend doing other things and basically don't want to spend hours working on the series. That's not to say that you won't see it ever again. I may get the urge to start again one day, but that time is not now. Until then, thanks for all your support, and I hope you enjoyed the 8 episodes that I did manage to finish.

Sprite Survivor 8 is now out. Sorry to all those people who got fed up of waiting two years, I was just really busy. Anyway, it comes in two parts, so check them out and tell me what you think.

Just a quick update. Sprite Survivor 8, which will be released within two weeks, is going to be submitted in two parts, because I exceeded the 16000 frame limitations of Flash.

Both parts are 99.99% complete, and the movie should be released within the next week.

What are your thoughts on submitting it in two halves on the same day?

I've just got a new beast of a computer with a 22" LCD screen and flash runs SOOOO much better. Now I'll be able to finish it sooner. I'm aiming for no later than September. Here's an image from the next installment.

To those of you who keep asking when it's going to be out, the answer is basically 'when it's ready'. I've been too busy with other things and haven't had much time to work on it over the last couple years. It is about 80% done though, so stay tuned.
