The Future of Sprite Survivor

I thought I should let you guys know the plans.

The truth is, I don't have the motivation or time to work on Sprite Survivor anymore. It's been a year since the release of SS-8, and right now I have more important thing to do. I'm nearly 21 and life is getting pretty intense. The time that I do have free, I spend doing other things and basically don't want to spend hours working on the series. That's not to say that you won't see it ever again. I may get the urge to start again one day, but that time is not now. Until then, thanks for all your support, and I hope you enjoyed the 8 episodes that I did manage to finish.

If you have any questions, post here and I'll respond to them.

That's ashame. I enjoyed the series. Ah well. It was good while it lasted. But, since you're ending it, was there one character you were planning to win?

haha i hope it eventually gets finished! It's actually a very well thought out series, and you did a good job actually developing each character even though you didn't know who would get eliminated and when.

I would like to see Bub win too, but looking at the reviews, I think he'd be the next one to go. I think the Newgrounds viewers probably will have Cecil win.

Thats a darn shame. Really enjoyed your original flash. Hope you get some motivation to work on it. Have fun with life and whatnot.

well it was one of the best series on new grounds congrats for that one thing is that i hope shadow wins even thou he wont nor any one else if the series does end but i hope you enjoyed makeing it as much as i did watching it have a good life seriusly

Hey man, i'll be willing to wait for the ?final? episode of flash survivor but, don't make us wait 3 or 4 years for it 'aight ;P When you do work on it, make a progress blog or something ;)

That's a shame. This was one of my all time favorite newgrounds series, and I followed it from the very beggining. I hope you do someday finish it. But if you do continue some day, don't make me wait 4 years please! XD

I searched for it half a year and now it is not finished! :*(

I wasn't able to stop laughing while watching them over and over again and again.

If you ever release it don't put it in two parts or at least don't put them both in the same day. Release them 2 months apart so the wait doesn't seem so long

2 parts wasn't my choice. Flash has a limit of keyframes to output, so I had to split it in 2. The same happened with SS5, and I had to cut an entire scene out.

I was admiring your work. I was wondering if you would have any advice for an animator just starting out? like what flash program to get as i currently do not have one and my drawing is sketchy at best. But i wanted to know if u had any adivce?

Watch a lot of Flash movies on Newgrounds, particularly ones matching the style that you wish to utilize. After watching enough, you'll know what's good and what isn't, and you'll be able to make your flash based on those guidelines.

And of course, practice makes perfect. Good luck.

Lol and i forgot to say i will wait until 9 i am patient i only discovered this like a month ago lol but it is one of my personal favs on newgrounds so keep up the good work
